Pictures of Beautiful Burnham Beeches, January 2012

Great pictures. I haven't been for a decent wander round Burnham Beeches in ages. Do they still have grazing animals there? (although I'd imagine if they do, they'd be indoors at this time of year). They certainly add character to the place.

Several years ago we went for a walk in Burnham Beeches when all of a sudden two huge pigs appeared in the distance and came charging towards us. It was quite scary, but it was only when they reached us that we realised they only wanted to say hello.

So we stroked their heads and told them they were good pigs.

They seemed happy enough with that and ambled off again. Brilliant!
