Great site - I used to live in Gerrards Cross so it's great to recognise some of the old haunts from my younger days! On the theme of haunting, Halloween is nearly upon us, and I'm sure you'll be covering where to go to get your pumpkins, witches hats and fake blood (!), but I was also wondering if you knew of any local organised events that are being put on to celebrate Halloween too? We've got a half term trip up to the town and it would be great to be able to plan a few outings with the kids.

There are some great hills for sledging in Wooburn Green, on the way towards Bourne End. They are in parkland or near footpaths a fair distance (but viewable) either side of the main road. You can't fail to spot people speeding down the hills once there's snow on the ground. Fingers crossed you get some more snow soon so you can have a proper sledging experience :-)
