Smash Hit Open Mic Night Is Back For Good in Beaconsfield

A new Open Mic Night at a Beaconsfield pub has proved such a big hit that it's now become a permanent fixture.

Matt Hulbert and Janice Fletcher had a four-week 'trial run' at The Red Lion in Knotty Green after persuading the owner, Tina Massie, to give the event a go.

And 'Matt & Janice's Tuesday Open Mic @ The Red' has proved so popular, there's now going to be one every week.

Tina said: "We've had live music at The Red Lion every Friday for several years now - and that's always popular. So it's great to see that there's enough interest from local musicians and music-music lovers for another weekly event".

As well as singers and musicians, the Open Mic Night also has comedians and poets.
