A man whose remains were found in undergrowth near the BP Malthouse Service Station at Wycombe End near Beaconsfield on Thursday 9 February has been formally identified as 37-year-old David Walters.

DNA analysis confirmed Mr Walters' identity on Friday (20/4). He was reported missing from his care home in Stoke Poges Lane, Manor Park, Slough, on 29 July 2011.

A post mortem examination proved inconclusive. However, there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and the matter has been handed over to the Coroner's office.

Members of the media are asked to respect the privacy of Mr Walters' family at this difficult time.
