Man charged with Murdering his Wife in Wooburn Green

Thames Valley Police have charged a 46-year-old man with murder following the death of a woman who was found with serious injuries at a property in Holtspur Avenue, Wooburn Green, on 3rd January. John Fairweather McGrory, of Holtspur Avenue, has been charged with murdering his wife, Marie McGrory, who died from her injuries in hospital in the early hours of 4th January. A post-mortem examination has now taken place and the initial cause of death is believed to be strangulation. McGrory was remanded in custody to appear before High Wycombe Magistrates' Court on 5th January. We'll keep you updated on the case as more information becomes available.
