Free Wall and Roof Insulation For Beaconsfield Residents

South Bucks District Council has teamed up with Cocoon to offer FREE home insulation to Beaconsfield and other South Bucks residents. 

Subject to a free, no obligation home survey, home owners can get free cavity wall insulation, and loft insulation if the loft has less than 60mm of pre-existing insulation. This FREE* offer is on a first-come first-served basis until September 2012 or until funds run out.

The scheme is open to all private homeowners in South Bucks District, including private landlords.

Why insulate? Well put on your 'energy glasses' and take a look at your home fuel bills! According to the Energy Savings Trust, typical savings are around £25 - £175 per year for loft insulation - depending on pre-existing levels of insulation, and £135 per year for wall insulation.

Chairman of the Council and Sustainability Champion, Councillor Alan Walters, said, 'Opportunities like these don't happen very often, so I urge you to take advantage of this offer. It'll be worth the effort and come winter you will be benefiting from a warmer home and regular savings. The better insulated your home is, the less money you'll spend heating it."
