Disability Sport Gets An Easter Boost in Beaconsfield

South Bucks District Council announced on their website that, Fun, multi-skills sessions designed for young people with learning and physical disabilities will take place in South Bucks during the Easter Holidays at The Beaconsfield School

The sessions will take place from 10am to 1pm everyday from Tuesday 10th to Friday 13th April and are for ages 7 to 13 years. This holiday course is being offered in addition to the District Council's long running 'Rockets Club' which has proven to be very popular over the past few years.

South Bucks District Councillor Anita Cranmer, Portfolio Holder for Community says, 'This is a fantastic opportunity for young people to experience a variety of fun games involving movement, balance and interaction all aimed at improving hand eye co-ordination. The Council is delighted to be able to offer this new holiday programme which builds on the great success of the regular weekly club'. 

The young peoples' welfare is paramount during the sessions which will be supervised by an experienced coach and assistants who have had several years' involvement in running the Rockets Club. 

The cost is £10 per day and booking in advance is essential so that the Sports Development Team is able to arrange the best care possible and to ensure that each child's needs are catered for.
