Dead Body Found in Beaconsfield, Police Investigate

Thames Valley Police are currently investigating an unexplained death after the remains of a dead body were found in Beaconsfield.

 

Thames Valley Police was called at 12.23pm on the 9th February to BP Malthouse Service Station in Wycombe End, Beaconsfield following a report that human remains had been discovered in nearby undergrowth.

Enquiries are ongoing to establish the identity of the person and the circumstances surrounding their death, but the investigation is at a very early stage.

Officers are treating it as unexplained at present.

Later that day Thames Valley Police confirmed that the human remains found in undergrowth near the BP Malthouse Service Station at Wycombe End near Beaconsfield have now been removed and taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

A post mortem examination is expected to be carried out on the remains. Officers remained at the scene overnight.

No further updates are expected until after the post mortem.
